Membership Requirements:

  • Volunteer to participate in club activities and service projects

  • Enjoy reading and working with books

  • Attend club meetings

  • Maintain an overall 2.5 grade point average or better

 

Mission Statement:
The Denham Springs High School Library Club is a service organization established 
with the following goals and principles:

  • To provide service to the school library. 

  • Promote reading and good reading habits.                                

  • Encourage the sharing of literature with other students.

  • Teach individuals about the use of the library. 

  • Carry out library projects, programs and other events.

  • Maintain the condition of the school library.

  • Developing and maintaining the library collection.

Activities:

  • Members read new books pertaining to topics that interest teens. They participate in exciting debates about the different books, and compare and contrast some of the books to their movie version. 

  • Members volunteer working at the circulation desk before school.

  • Members volunteer working at the parish library
